Whether you’re celebrating the 4th of July or Canada Day, this is the week that truly feels like summer is in full swing. But between all the pool parties and cocktails, we are hopefully reminded of what these holidays represent.
This week, we hope that you remember the sacrifices that have been made that have given you opportunities to live a prosperous life. We hope that you believe that your country has bright days to come and your fellow citizens also crave a better world that they are willing to work toward. These holidays are not about a day off from work to enjoy the warm weather, the festive cocktails you found on Pinterest, or the fireworks that give your dog nightmares. These holidays unite us with our fellow country-people because the best is yet to come and our brightest days are not yet behind us.
