Hey, how’s it going? Are you being kind to yourself? We hope so!
2020 is not how any of us pictured it. What we’re experiencing is totally unknown territory, but remember, you are not alone.
It’s easy to forget about our mental well-being during times like these, but putting time aside for self-care is more important now than ever. So let’s re-focus on the things that bring us joy and the people who make us happy, as this is how we build our strength to keep going.
With the help of technology, there are now many variations of our favorite hobbies that we can enjoy while staying at home.
Your Favorite Things Made Virtually Possible
Like many, we’ve undergone a lot of change in the last couple of months. Since March, we’ve transitioned all our events to an interactive online streaming platform.
In addition to the activities we were already hosting, we’ve added games, a variety of creative projects, food and drink, live comedy shows, and much more. Whatever you love, you can find it here, along with plenty of new at-home entertainment to try.
Fun fact: did you know that creativity has a calming effect on your brain, increases happiness, and boosts your immune system? Smiling can also improve your mood and lower blood pressure!
Just take one look through our virtual events calendar—we’re sure you’ll find something to bring a smile to your face.
Stay Connected with The Ones You Love
Keeping in touch with friends and family is always important, but especially in the times when we’re not feeling ourselves. They’re the ones who know how to pick us up and make us feel better. Although you may not be able to see them in person, that doesn’t mean you can’t “get together” for some fun.
If you love going to concerts, try one of our live virtual shows. If you enjoy meeting up for trivia, we have that covered too! Everything is interactive, so you can still talk to guests in different locations. We know nothing beats being together in person, but this comes pretty close.
We also run virtual private parties for when you want to keep things more personal or celebrate a special occasion. Drivebys are fun and all, but if you’d like to spend more time together and have an actual party, this is the way to go!
Workplace Wellness
Motivation and innovation can be challenging when you’re staying in one place and not seeing much of the world outside. Being away from your coworkers also has its challenges. However, our virtual corporate events can change all that. Getting together virtually to have some fun is an excellent way to boost morale, rediscover your team spirit, and get your creative juices flowing. Google and Netflix are just two companies we’ve partied with—can we add yours to the list?

More Ways to Care for Your Well-Being
During this time, make sure you continue:
- Getting enough rest
- Eating and drinking well
- Taking breaks from the news
- Seeking help when you need to (many health care providers are holding virtual appointments)
